Company Profile : Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL) was incorporated on 29th March, 1973 in the State of Gujarat by Gujarat Industrial Investment Corporation Limited (GIIC), a wholly owned company of Govt. of Gujarat, as a Core Promoter. The Company commenced its operations in 1976 with 37,425 MTPA Caustic Soda Plant based on the then, state-of-the-art Mercury Cell process at its Plant which is situated 16 km North of Vadodara near Village Ranoli on the main Railway track route between Ahmedabad and Mumbai.

Qualification : Candidates should possess B.Sc or B.E/ B.Tech (Chemical) for Post No. 01, B.E/ B. Tech (Civil) for Post No. 02 & 03, B.E/ B. Tech (Instrumentation) for Post No. 04, MBBS from MCI recognized Medical College/ Institute and CIH (Certificate in Industrial Health) or equivalent course from recognized institution for Post No. 05, Ex- Servicemen/ Graduation or equivalent from recognized university or Ministry of Defense and Certificate course in Industrial Security for Post No. 06 & Ex-Servicemen with minimum 15 years of service in Army/ Navy/ Air Force or Paramilitary Services (CPOS) and he should be NCO (Non-Commissioned Officer) from defense forces or paramilitary services & Certificate course in industrial security for Post No. 07.
